A letter to the president.

Dear UN President,

We are writing because we are deeply concerned about global warming and the future of our planet. All scientists have found out that one of the primary cause of this disaster in the huge use of electricity.
Lots of "necessary" thing - like mobile phones, televisions and computers - consume big quantity of energy. The most of this energy is taken from burning fossil fuels. Those release carbon dioxide, methane and other gases into the air which trap the heat from the sun in our atmosphere. Our great worry is that people are keeping on using electricity without realising how dangerous it is for us. For example, in our city we could find lots of people who have two or more mobile phones or a television in each room of their houses.
You would agree with us that every single person should act immediately! Firstly, it would be great if all the UN countries had caps on electricity use so that people start to count the resourses they waste every day. Another point could be to improve public environment through advertisement and education at school.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely,
Fabio Serpenti and Renata Zakirova.
